    Doctor Podladchikova research has focused on space plasma physics, solar activity and space weather with particular emphasis on:

  • coronal heating mechanisms: Review
  • wave propagation and shock formation in inhomogeneous and stratified plasmas
  • data analysis and image processing for space features characterisation
  • the properties of turbulence in solar wind
  • beam-plasma instabilities, particle-wave interaction in plasmas
  • Doctor Podladchikova has taught mechanics, electromagnetism, space weather and plasma physics courses at University and Summer Schools for advanced, scientifically oriented students, supervised master theses and co-suprevised Ph.D theses.
